As part of this year's Bloomsday Celebrations, the Norwegian Irish Society (www.irishsociety.no), shot this special Flashmob in downtown Oslo, just behind the National Theatre. We reckon it's probably the first ever Bloomsday Flashmob worldwide. We chose the Phil Chevron song Kitty Ricketts from the 1978 album Ghosttown by the Radiators. Kitty Ricketts is a character in Joyce's Ulysses who features in the Circe chapter (also known as Nighttown). Enjoy!

  • excellent and innovative.

  • Brilliant!

  • Great endurance from the dancers - they should do a tour in Johnnie Fox's Pub (jfp.ie) or get the dancers from Johnnie Fox's to fly over to Norway :) they are always up for a gig

  • Excellent stuff!
