Great clip! Thanks. I think he also a pioneer in that he had a short-lived 15 min TV program in the U.S. in the early '50s, prior to Nat Cole's ground-breaking 1956-57 1/2 hour program.

Saw him at the Copa in the late 40's, and was mesmerized by his showmanship, no one could ever upstage him

Billy Daniels.aka.The man who sang with his hands. Had the great pleasure of seeing him in person,many moons ago. i believe he also was in a stage production of "Sugsr Babes" Also I seem to recall Mickey Rooney in the same show. Nice track.

***note:Billy Daniels = was first introduced to Cdn TV.via Montreal's first Telethon TV Show held from the newly opened The Queen Elizabeth Hotel,Montreal Canada in Spring 1959 or 1960.
His wife Diane was a canadian citizen. He would cry on stage while performing 'Diane'.
