@godgrant123 Everything is pratice! in the beginning. 4 miles will look like 40 miles at the and 40 miles will look like 4 miles

good luck start training now. running go for 20 mins at the very least everday no less dont worry about speed right away just time, stamina & endurance is your main goal. and alot of push ups and pull ups, wide grip, the selection process is were you really wanna shine and show them you can handle it. inner core training your abs too will help.

@gryzer26 300m or less is still the tyipical engagement distance as it was in ww2. the Ak-47 max effective range is that distance without better sights I doubt id hit a man sized target at 300 with an ak but thats as much to do with aging eyes as the 19th century inspired sights. the russians have a cobra red dot sight similar to what the us army uses makes target aquisition faster once trained to use it properly

@gryzer26 the range of the famas is the same than any other 5.56 Nato with 20" barrel (Famas has 19.8" barrel).

the max effective range is 300m with ironsight. if you add optics like Acog or the french equivalent the Scrome J4 you can hit target up to 500-600m.

@PalleRasmussen Yes and the legion like to get up close and dirty to utilize its 1000rpm...quite a ROF. Regarding the combat equipment and potentially saving up for this absolute huge risk in FELIN is some serious change from the standard. Could mean big trouble and technical problems but seems like they have time to iron things (they like ironing anyway ;)) out right now not being in the shit so to speak. That said a friend of mine who was in Afghan bought a lot of his own equipment and rails
