I am a huge fan of Caldara's music!
Have 'my' Magdalena at Jesus Feet in a different looking package but also with Kiehr, Scholl etc., so it must be the same disc collection!
Wonderful, wonderful Caldara, amazing, touching singers (here Maria K.).... Am so glad that I can listen to my faves here! Thanks for sharing :)

Also a fan of Clada and Maria Christina... and just to let you know that a new recording of Caldara's "Conversione di Clodoveo, rè di Francia" is coming out in March from a Canadian Company (ATMA) and from a new ensemble called "Le Nouvel Opéra" conducted by Alexander Weimann.

@noretornable55 CD: Antonio Caldara, Maddalena ai piedi di Cristo, with Maria Cristina Kiehr and Andreas Scholl (two of the very best voices for singing Baroque correctly.) The whole recording is well worth having: excellent singers, beautiful orchestration. Check out any music shop, on-line distributor, or Amazon.
