We waited in line in the baking heat for nearly an hour for this 85 second ride, but it was worth it. It began with a 90 degree vertical lift for 121ft, then down into a 97 degree negative drop (making it the steepest drop in the United States apparently), inverted loop, Norwegian loop, cobra roll and inverted corkscrew roll. Super thrilling!

  • This isn't the steepest in the U.S. but it is the steepest of this type of rollercoaster... The physics of a negative drop on one of these as to that of Steel Hawg or mumbo jumbo makes it a pivotal point in its design. That and the harness design makes it look like you aren't strapped in and gives you the idea that you're flying.

  • actually its not the steepest drop, steel hawg at indiana beach (opened in 2008) has a 111 degree drop and it is the 2nd steepest in the world because mumbo jumbo in the UK has the same design exept the drop is 112 degrees.
