@ericerock1000 actually I think they are still around but I think they just use them as work trains in the rail yards now

Whoa nice Commuter Rail locomotive. It looks like they were using it a lot in the 1980's or so, but I don't think it exists anymore.

In Palmer, MA there is a purple line coach in the yard. It's the one that runs by it's self.

@JPa311979 Not around here anyway. The engine might have gone to another railroad. I would guess that the cars have ben scrapped by now. The MBTA doesn't have them.

@TKDMaster20114 I do not know the answer to that. The MBTA had a bunch of these type locomotives, I think.
