  • In Palmer, MA there is a purple line coach in the yard. It's the one that runs by it's self.

  • @CrazyCousins32 Do you mean one of the cars that the engineer can control the train from but which has no engine itself?

  • That's a very nice looking train. Is it still in service?

  • @JPa311979 Not around here anyway. The engine might have gone to another railroad. I would guess that the cars have ben scrapped by now. The MBTA doesn't have them.

  • Great vid, btw isn't that on of the Cape Cod railroad f10s

  • @TKDMaster20114 I do not know the answer to that. The MBTA had a bunch of these type locomotives, I think.

  • @ericerock1000 actually I think they are still around but I think they just use them as work trains in the rail yards now

  • Whoa nice Commuter Rail locomotive. It looks like they were using it a lot in the 1980's or so, but I don't think it exists anymore.

  • @TKDMaster20114 yes that is former cape cod railroad 1100, also there was f10's 1101 and 1114

  • One of the few videos I have seen of the FP10s. Wish they still had them.

  • I LOVE THE SOUND OF THOSE LOCOMOTIVES!!!!!!! Greatly missed.
