@wojiaokatya Agreed and I might add uninhibited and candid to the list. I don't think he sang in front of the bathroom mirror very much, :)
-
@ZZJoCa Someone on YouTube said - John's voice is completely honest. I liked that.

this is better than the actual version imo

@MrUnderdog1970 Last one before we clutter this one up too much :)
"Every man had his own quirks and twists" (Harriet Beecher Stowe).
Urban dictionary: quirky weird funny unique strange cool awesome odd quirk cute different dork random fun silly witty amazing smart intelligent gorgeous sarcastic individual
BTW, I subscribed. You got some pretty decent stuff there.

@ZZJoCa Yes, they were influenced by the Everly's by their own admission. I definitely understood where you were coming from in your comment.

@MrUnderdog1970 Hahaha, you may be right. I'm not much of a wordsmith. Here's Wiki's comment on his vocal style......"Lennon's singing voice was recognized as distinctive, versatile, and variable. " Variable - maybe that's where I got quirky from. I do agree with your Everly Bros comparison and I expect they were a major influence.

@ZZJoCa At least for me low harmony is harder and John definitely had a unique spuedo-Everly Bro.s style harmony. Especially,(understandably so) their earlier works. BTW I think you could have found a better adjvective than "quirky" LoL!

the picture is SO cute! awwww, George is so cute :)
-
its too bad that YT took down all the stereo remastered versions of this. You could clearly distinguish the perfect vocal and harmony and each instrument, especially Paul's thumping bassline.

I love Paul. I have since I was a little girl!
Another reason they're called the Fab Four!

There`s a book out that tells you how many takes they recorded for each of the songs they recorded and you just wouldn`t believe it. It was taken from the Abbey road notes on the tapes and it`s insane. Sometimes hundreds of takes and the reason was that`s how they wrote. They always wrote off of what they recorded before, like a painter stepping back to look at what he just painted and slowly add improvements.
