Kittens for snake food! is it wrong? if it's wrong what about other mammals?

Everyone is complaining about kittens being killed by a rattle snake. I think it's cruel to stress out a snake that much that it has to bite in self defense. http://www.snakeartist.com/

Keeping snakes and other large reptiles should definitely be prohibited and allowed only to professional researchers and research institutions. Too many get on the loose/get in hands of people that neglect them or, like we can see now, use them for even worse things.

@cvvelle I'm not a big fan of making rules but I understand that it will happen. I was hoping that my videos would convince reptile keepers police themselves, but as mammals are unnecessary feed live to reptiles and neglect in care happens, laws will be brought in to control reptile keepers. It is a shame because good snake keepers can do a lot to educate people and stop the cruel killing of snakes.

their reptiles wants them to be healthy and safe more than anything. 2). It is cheaper. 3) In my opinion in is just out of respect for the rodents. I just want people to realize that not all reptile owners are sick and not all of us enjoy watching another animal suffer while our snakes constrict them or deliver a venomous bite to them. What I do enjoy is watching my snakes grow and thrive in the environment in which they live. Just my .02 cents.

I Have to agree with what you have said. Its not the dilemma that the snake was fed live food, it was the fact the person doing this took perverse pleasure in doing so, while he tortured the kitten and stressed out his python.

Keep on doing what you are doing as your videos are interesting!

that's just sick! Now lawyers would be okay, they only look human. Even live feeding would be okay because lawyers don't have feelings of any kind, again they just a imitation of humans. But you would have to boil them first because of the extreme cold ice water that runs through their veins would shock most predators.

For as long as I can remember, I've gone out of my way to bash in a snake's head. I've never regretted doing this at all. I hate snakes. I won't let a snake suffer, I just take a machete to it's head. No kitten or rabbit need ever die from this crawling pest. Keep snakes where they belong, in the wild. The only good snake is a dead snake. Period.

@billflowers It is sad in a way that majority of people didnt got to the point where they educate and make responsible decisions on their own, but wait for law to get in and enforce them to do/not do something, and thus making life harder for everyone else in the process.
