Dirk Verbeuren & David "Fingers" Haynes performing trade-off drum solos live at the London International Music Show 2009 on Friday June 13th, 2009. This is a demo for The Metal Foundry, an expansion pack for Toontrack's award-winning Superior Drummer 2.0 drum sampling software, distributed in Europe by Time+Space. Dirk performs on a Tama kit customized by Pintech with mesh heads and triggers; David uses a Korg nanoPAD. Both run through the Superior Drummer software. Video © Hannah Verbeuren.

  • got superior drummer 2.0 already but i ordered a nanopad2 which arrives tomorrow, and I will then fail university as I will be too busy attempting to reach this level of godlike ability playing it.

  • @IMHOLUKE I know that was an old post, but where in Ohio was he?

  • @iplaywithnoshoes Dude Dirk's been in Ohio for all of 09, and then all hes done this year is clinics.

  • @JiTiAr35

Whatever, the point obviously is that it's harder to seperate samplepack/VST's like Addictive Drums from real drums than to seperate a TD20 sound from real drums.

  • They don't sound more realistic. They do sound realistic. They sample it from acoustic drums.
