A quick little rope trick used to protect yourself on the edge of a cliff or waterfall.

Belay the leader out to the edge with a munter off a stout anchor. Once the leader secures the end of the rope, break down the munter into a fixed single line carabiner block. Each person in the group clips their edge protection onto this handline. Last person to the edge takes the rest of the single line and retrieves the system. No problemo!
