These two chaps are the real warrior for the greenpeace. I salute their bravery.

I would like the support the tokyo two but not through green peace, as I strongly disagree with their anti-nuclear power and anti-GM foods stance.

yeah lets stop using oil and killing animals and see how good that would work out for one month..... Complete and udder chaos.... Greenpeace? more like eco terrorists....

@kanotakuro... Keep it simple people - we have enough resources without having to go after something endangered. It's a delicacy at the risk of saying goodbye to a marine phenomenon. Leave the whales alone and eat something else!
-
@kanotakuro ...According to The Australian, it is even used for dog food! End of day, to just 'get a taste' for whale meat that is now even being encouraged to be eaten in schools and nursery's in Japan, is completely unreasonable in a world where we have plenty of other food sources in huge quantities. It's just human kind getting greedy on the things that we don't really need and will ultimately affect our world in the worst of ways.
-
@kanotakuro... Point taken but face the facts as you have said: cows are not endangered so if we have the choice, why do we have to unnecessarily slaughter such a magnificent species that IS endangered? I understand that no animal OR human is more important than the next but common sense would prevail don't you think? We reproduce cows for this reason - you wanna try reproducing whales? .... more to come

Go, T2 We're all with you!

You go into a warehouse of a private delivery service company without permmision and bring back the boxes the company is supposed to deliver to its customers. You sure get arrested and get a sentence by court. You hold a press confference and say you "seized the boxes as evidence" even though you are not a police officer. And you say you eat the whale meat to investigate the case. People sure laugh at you !

Whales are your friend
I am happy to see old cultures continue on with subsistence whaling, but not where whales are endangered, and certainly not on a commercial basis.
As japan proved to the world, there is a problem with allowing whaling on cultural grounds. Those who assert that right, can take advantage of the rules and just conduct commercial whaling with no cultural context at all. Worse yet, japan abuses the research clause.
They don't belong in the IWC, however their pirating must be stopped, and enforced.

That's just abhorrent, that Japanese officials could sleep at night knowing that they condone such abominable practices to go one.
