@norfolk611 I'm aware this is a late reply but had to say, THAT'S THE POINT! They're not supposed to be good and considering that they're (well more Milly!) deliberately singing badly they do a fantastic job! It's not easy to deliberately sing badly.

This is actually a wonderful song, though, well, a bit barbaric, but, its sung rather off tune here. They're probably pain to do that though.

XD I grew up with this song! I can't believe it's o. YouTube! My mom would always sing it to me lol. It was slightly different using the words "cyanide" and "poliece" and "my tragic tale I won't prolong" but close enough!!!

God, that sucks compared to a version by a group called "The Womenfolk" which was a rare group from the mid 60s. But it doesn't appear that their version is on here.And it includes the verse posted by grig35.
