A few months ago on Tuesday 22nd May 2008, M&W Productions were given rare access to film the fuel protest heading towards Cardiff Bay to hand in a petition to the Welsh Assembly Senedd Building. However, having been informed that the protesters had been stopped on the westbound M4, they headed to the scene and captured footage of Mike Greene the protest leader to inform the public why they were doing the protest and its effectiveness.
M&W productions were disappointed that the major news companies didn't want the footage (simply because they were already there), time wasn't wasted.
Within a matter of hours after the protest, DJFM Industries Television was informed and I was asked to narrate the story for M&W productions.
We thought it a good idea to film the narration process, which was done in only two takes and then added to the complete footage. Of course during the whole thing, we went a little mad...
Thank you and enjoy the documentary :)
