Tani avarthanam : Vidwan Kallidaikuruchi Sivakumar and Dr.Vellore A.R.Srinivasan

Chennai based Vidwan Kallidaikuruchi S.Sivakumar began his training in the art of mridangam playing from Vidwan Vaitheeswarankoil Vaidyanathan. Later, he had the rare fortune of learning under the mridangam genius Sangeetha Kalanidhi Palghat R.Raghu.
Pondicherry based Dr.Vellore A.R.Srinivasan is a self-taught kanjira and moharsing artiste,besides being a Carnatic vocalist and composer..He learnt mridangam from the tavil vidwan Vellore C.M.Kuttiappa. Presently, Srinivasan is receiving advanced training from the mridangam guru , Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Asthana Vidwan Tiruvarur Sri R.Krishnamoorthy.
