This may have been in the British album, but I don't remember listening to this song when I bought her CD her in the United States in 2011.

Seriously? Because I've seen another top comment on the same creator's video from the same album saying the same thing.

Well if you have high quality headphones, it makes a big difference. Just like watching a video in hd.

My speakers are fine. But I am using headphones. I don't notice the different, though -.-.

It's actually a song about The Doctor's companions from his point of view and how badly he wants to be human like them and not a Time Lord because he is the last of his kind, he is consumed with hate and love. He is seemingly immortal, he has seen everyone he loved die and he wants to be human so he will never have to see that day again. Also the line "human behave yourself" is a play on words about the first rule of traveling with The Doctor; Don't run off.

I interpret the lyrics in the sense that she feels less human, less valuable than those around her because she wants to be good at the things that they're good at. Like for most people, we want to be skinnier, prettier, funnier, better at sports, art, music etc... we want to fit in, be popular, feel normal, be.... human. Ya know?

I love the irony of the lyrics: assuming she were not human and she said she would give her life to be human, she would be dead since humans are mortal beings

    It's such a great song :D
