R.I.P. cockatiel ( sultan )

sultan got his beak broken causing him not to be able to eat
so i tolked him to the vet and he said, i have 2 options
1. to get surgery that would be about $5000
and that is not for sure he would aver eat food again
2. to put him to sleep

tears started falling of my eyes i had no other option
i choose option # 2

i am sorry to tell you guys this but , it is an unfair world out there, but sultal did not deserved this.

my cockatiel: Willy, had the same unfortunate thing happened to him; he was suffering and we tried to feed him with bread and water but he just got worse; I live in South America and we can't do that kind of surgeries in here, we also had to choose to put him to sleep. He died at... a little more than 6 years old :'(

we had a bird die in 2009 i cried for 3 days 2009 was the worst year of my life but i saw my moms cockiteil stonewall (age now 22 or 23) so i got a picture of him he is a good bird and would take treats my mom's tongue other than we both have and had a great bird in our life
