Nice diggs. We spent four and a half months in similar conditions in Bragg before going to the Ghan. Raw sewage, vermine, ect.... Today I found out I may have been exposed to asbestos in there. That's just wonderful.

Not to diminish the impact of your message, but I am active duty Air Force and have been deployed to Iraq twice myself, I am stationed at Andrews AFB, MD and the building we work out of is very comparable to these barracks...it is an airplane hangar...basically I think it comes down to leadership putting forth the money and effort to provide a higher quality of life for people...it all comes down to money. Sad but true.

Hey man, I know this video is aimed at being an eye-opener, but you shouldn't brush off the Army from this single perspective.

I just left the Army to attend graduate school after 4 years of service. Within those 4 years resides some of the best memories I've had in my life.

Met some great people, got married, landed a great job after the Army. Great memories.

I lived in these barracks up till a few months ago.....they cleaned em up slapped some paint on the walls...thank god I got a house.
