Installed a TrackIR today for use with Microsoft Flight Simulator X. This is a short video test of me using it on a takeoff from Kansas City's downtown airport in a Cessna 172. Computer is a 2.4Ghz Intel Core2Duo with 3GB RAM and nVidia 7600GT with 256MB VRAM.

  • Depends on the location. For instance tonight I was tooling around St. Barths and was getting 70 to 80 fps. In metro areas its closer to 30 fps. If its a real dense metro area like NY or SF, then I may drop down to 20 fps.

  • i love Wheeler downtown... i think you flew over my house

  • I just wish there was a scenery add-on for FSX covering the airport and downtown KC.

  • u can add diffrent towns?

  • Assuming someone has made the scenery for your particular version of MSFS, then yes, you can add scenery and objects.
