In this final part of the RS232 demo we will be looking at how to write text to and from the chip utalizing the rs232 communication feature of the chip. In this program I had forgotten to mention that we are using a software UART.
Also I mention Teraterm for the termaling application. if you would like to find out more about this application I have included a link to the teraterm website below

Guess I'm missing something... did you publish this code somewhere? Or describe it in a prior video?
On Hyperterm for Windows 7, there is a new version from the company that wrote the program originally, but you can also just copy it from Win XP and it works fine on 7. Copy files:
C:\Program Files\Windows NT\HYPERTRM.EXE
C:\Windows\Help\HYPERTRM.CHM
C:\Windows\Help\HYPERTRM.HLP
C:\Windows\System32\hypertrm.dll
into a folder "HyperTerminal" under program files on Win7 and make a shortcut

@JamesMichaelNewton Thank you for your post that was some good information. Also to answer your question yes I do have other videos. These are the bootloader and UART video lessons. The reason they are kind of out of order with the demo was because I didn't have a free bread board at the time to demonstrate. But please feel free to check out the other videos on my channel and thanks again for your comment.
