This is a time lapse shot from the locomotive cab. Camera set on tripod to the rear and right of the driving position and requiring no intervention whilst the locomotive was moving.

  • hey rod what company do you drive trains for ? i am moving to melbourne in a few years and have wanted to be a train driver all my life

  • I am a casual with El Zorro. You are going to find it a difficult industry to get in to these days.

  • Great with high speed trains, i enjoy so much :-)

But sad, this video also is a high speed video.

When the train stops i can see the trees, blows in wind, faster than real.

So i can not get the real feeling with the speed of this train, sorry.

    But i enjoy, thanks mate.

    ;-)

  • The video was designed to be seen this way. I have many videos from the cab running at real time. Look in my Playlist "from the cab"

  • That was great. Its gives a real view of the ups and downs of the track.

  • I like how this video gives a good perspective of the way the land flows and also makes you think how hard these old machines have to work to get up some of those hills

  • Красивое видео. Вот только мне не понятна ваша сигнализация - сочетание красного и зеленого огней на светофорах.

Nice video. That's just I do not understand your alarm system - a combination of red and green lights on traffic lights.

  • thanks rocketboy cheers mate hop you are well mate 10 out of 10 for this one

  • Nice job

  • very good video - you can see them building those passing loops on the standard gauge.
