her voice was fluid, beautiful, can't say enough good things. Practically only singer who sounds same in concert/radio. She deserves wayyyyyy more credit.

I love how Donna can change and disguise her vocals on her recordings and always come out perfect. She is one of a kind. I remember hearing this song on regular airplay in 1980 on 1580 KDAY AM stereo.

I didn't especially care for this song when I first got into Donna Summer a few years ago, but it has grown on me in a big way. Initially, I was put off by the cheesy sounding opening but the chorus is what is really catchy about this song and makes it extraordinary. Maybe the rest of the song sounding a little dated (for lack of a better word) is the reason why you never hear it on the radio today, and that's a shame. This is a great live rendition.

I saw her in concert at THE VENUE THEATRE @ the HORSHOE CASINO in HAMMOND,IND. last AUG 2009. I'm sorry she didn't sing "THE WANDERER" in the concert. She's still touring with "CRAYONS" songs. This isn't in her repertoire anymore I guess. Thanx for posting.
