I'm still itching to read it, loved the first 3 books.

I LOVED his first two books, but the last two werent so great.

He's so eloquent (not that I expected anything other than that) and I am really truly excited to read this.

Good thing for Bush that there's no shortage of dumbfuck, testosterone driven thugs out there who want to live out their macho, killer instincts perfectly legally. Dumb fucking Marines.

Keep up the good work, Christopher!

MerrittRich: We all have our opinions as to who is a good writer or not, re. writers both past and present. I happen to think Christopher Rice is lousy (his prose is the pits). The Times bestseller list doesn't mean anything: every Jackie Collins book makes it too. But you can like Rice as a writer, for style/subject matter, whatever. I respect that.

I disagree with quardog's opinion below. Rice is a great writer tackling challenging and unpopular topics with style and dignity. I served 13 years in the Marine Corps and I can confirm Rice's "Blind Fall" captures the mystical "esprit de corps" that real Marines understand so well. Only a "wanna-be" would attack a man for exercising his freedom to write what he wants. And if Rice's success were due to his mother, he wouldn't have four NY Times bestsellers in print.

I'd like to challenge all of u who use the term "misconduct," 2 reconsider. What about str8s who sexually harass each other? Isn't that misconduct? Homosexuality is NOT misconduct. If a fag lays down his life to protect YOURS, he should have the same rights and freedoms as u. Congrats on a story that challenges people to confront their hypocrisy Chris! gahooshi4: I love how u religious fanatics are so quick 2 judge and contradict your "Christian" values. It's entertainment 4 the enlightened.

If a guy go homosexual mis-behaviour on they other guy, then his gay. What is your exact question?
I serve in the Navy - on a LST with many Marines, you being a dumb ass, wouldn't know the first thing about serving the country is like - I'll use words I know you'll have to ask what they mean - "Committment, HONNOR and DUTY TO COUNTRY". You have no ideal what it's like to serve. You would have a better story line if you picked a sorry ass book writer from La. living in Ca..

First of all you idiot bigot, it's Corps, not "corp."
Secondly, as a 9 year former Marine and queer, there have always been and always will be queers in the military. If you can't handle it, maybe you should take a good hard look at your self and figure out what's going on in that narrow head of yours....
