this is PURELY A GUESS, but either you don't have power mirrors, or in can be set up somewhere in the command system
-
It looks like more useless junk... auto makers need to use more brain matter...
-
@swift6053 if you are parking in a narrow street it is less probable that somebody will hit your mirror with car when it is folded.
-
ya it folds in all right , Is to keep the mirror clean , because it still sits out there quite a ways , so what's the purpose ?
-
wow and citroen can do that!
-
Just look in the Command computer

ima get sum for my buick

I have an 05 CLK, and it doesn't do that. How much does it cost to get that done/ I just find it cool.
-
My CLK does this, its nothing special really but if you have electric wing mirros and this doesnt work then take it in to merc to get the key programed thats what i did with my previos 06 c class. Hope this helps ??

Thanks for your reply.
I have those two buttons in my MB that I have to push to fold the mirros, but I do not have any lock option to keep then in auto mode.
Hey how did you acheive the ayto-folding from the remote?I have the same car but it dos not work for me...!!!???

I just pushed to "lock" button, I did not do anything special.
But I do not think that the folding mirror comes standard on these cars, you have to order it extra.

I have seen this feature on the current 7-series also (the face-lift introduced in 2005), and on the current BMW M3. But I do not have any idea in which year BMW introduced this feature, and if it is an option or standard.
