Thomas James Gugliotta (born December 19, 1969 near Huntington Station, New York, United States) is an American former professional basketball player.

The youngest of seven children, Gugliotta was a skinny 6'6", 198 pound forward as a high school senior. He attended Walt Whitman High School His two older brothers, Frank Jr. and Charlie, both enjoyed limited collegiate success on the hardwood and played professionally in Europe. His father, Frank Sr., called an old friend, Jim Valvano at North Carolina State University during his senior season and told Valvano that his youngest son was going to be a special basketball player. Valvano took a chance on Gugliotta and brought him to Raleigh.

  • Googs, Steph and KG were nice together for a couple years

  • Yea, Googs was a good player. I agree uabhoopstar. Steph and Googs mainly left due to the lockout mainly cuz by KG Huge Contract(which he wasnt clearly worth). They possible could have built something special in Minn if it was for KG being greedy n management being stupid to pay him that much. Horrible for Minn fans. They had a potentially good team who might could have made a run at the Finals in time.

  • @eclipspyd99 Those were good times, they did have a good thing going. I was in highschool around that time. I remember listening to trent tucker bitching about transition defense every game. But thats about the time that Shaq and Kobe were startin to dominate too. The Lakers would have been on the path to the championship. I personally don't think we could have stopped Shaq in his prime.

  • @VeoShock lol sorry what? you think Stephon Marbury would have been good for Minny? Starbury destroys the chemistry of any team he's on. KG won MVP, DPOY, a surefire hall-of-famer; the best player in the league at one point. I think he's worth a big contract. Minnesota did have something special with KG, Cassell, Wally, and Spree. They had the first seed in the West and went to the WCF. They were robbed out of the finals and potentially the 'chip by the Laker-favored refs. Even Barkley said so.

  • i just realized that he went to my highschool!!

  • @eclipspyd99 ughh they were...

  • does anyone know where I can get his jersey?

  • I loved Googs when he was with the T'Wolves. '97-'98 was our year when we had Googs, KG and Steph. If those Big 3 would have stuck around, the T'Wolves would have been a huge powerhouse team in the Western Conference.

  • veoshock you are so stupid, on left side down, is The King Misiek video signature :-D. It isnt your video, the sound dont run and this is terrible mix

  • knee injuries nearly ended his career, and would never allow him to reach his full potential. Its ashame, he was said to be the next Larry Bird. But he was lucky he was even able to play after the injury
