@haydenHD I´m from Sweden, just thought it was interesting that you're last name Jacobson ends with (-son) and not (-sen). (-son) is the swedish ending and (-sen) is the norwegian.
Genealogy Rocks! :D

This whole process is super cool.

cool vase Carl. I just exploded my little Black Walnut box I was working on so I guess I'll try to make the vase. I waited for weeks for the walnut box to dry so I could finish turning it but alas it was not meant to be. I just stood there in shock, thinking bummer. Oh well on to the next one.

Hi Carl, please coul you explane me the right position of cutting tools respect the rotation's axis of wood's piece? The tool support (I don't know the right name) must be parallel respect the axis rotation or upper or lower positioned?
Thanks!

The tool rest should be at our just above center and the bevel of your tool be your guide to the angle and slowly bring up the handle as the piece is turning.
Thanks,
Carl
