Dj's Serenity is a 16 year old Standardbred that was a negelct case in central Florida. We have put weight back on DJ and now are working on his muscle build up. He has just begun working on the lungeline to build up musle. We have had a saddle on him in a walk. He would make a good Dumdeedum horse, been there done that, walk trot. Very loveable and has no vices.. Just a good ole boy looking for someone to love him. His adoption fee is $900. If you are interested in adopting DJ please call 561-951-2108 or you can email us.

I know now this video was in 2007. I just want to say, tks for sharing this story and this angel, which all horses are, but, if DJ, s sickness was known or looked into on time, would he have had better chances of survival?? EPM is pretty serious, i see, and in the USA, its pretty much known. TKS and my heart goes out to all horses in waiting pens, destined for slaughter ect. R.I.P now DJ. RUN FREE from all pain. Qc.

at least you guys gave him the last few months of his life The BEST HE HAS HAD in a long time before you helped him pass over and know that you and every one with you and beyond did every thing you could to help him,love him , and respect him in every way possible. RIP DJ , rip

DJ had advanced EPM and despite medication and diet change he could not overcome the illness. He was helped to pass over by his loved ones and family
