Nice place you've got there. The immediate area doesn't look bad either. I hope you're enjoying it :) I've been thinking of applying for the JET programme but I may be rushing into it.. I think I'll wait a year or two (though it seems a long wait..) so I can become familiar with Japanese speech and hiragana at least. Thanks for the insight into your days spent in Japan!

If you really want to apply for JET, the sooner the better in my opinion. You would be fine with just the basic hiragana and katakana. You will quickly learn the standard greetings and once you are here, you can study the language in more depth.

I'm a student currently studying Japanese, and I've always been so interested in the culture. I would eventually like to become a teacher and do what you do! Haha, except I'll know how to speak Japanese. Sooo glad I came across your videos. :)
