Its a clever little parody. But politically way off mark. Bobby Darin was a lifelong Democrat, campaigned for Robert Kennedy and wrote protest songs which were far more more left leaning than many others of the day. Given his absolute commitment to civil rights and his admiration for Martin Luther King, he would have heartily approved of Barack Obama. What a pity you had to choose Darin's signature song for putting across a view diametrically opposed to everything he stood for.

I'm 50 and I've never seen anything like this election. The Left (and I'm talking white liberals here) have fallen in love with Obama. They're completely irrational about the guy. And when emotion takes over, reason goes out the window. Chris Matthews is a perfect example...bad enough the MSM was in the bag for Obama...now we'll have to spend 4 years listening to the MSM defend Obama's mistakes and hype is tiny successes.

So, I'll agree he'll be the best Pres since Clinton. I'll also predict he'll be a one term Pres with a legacy of failed big-govt programs and economic failure.

I know it is hard, but that is the way it had to be... Now that the Dems have the White House, Senate and House, there will be no finger-pointing allowed... there will be no change in FOUR years... and they will not have the Reps to blame... think about it.. if they really elevate the poor & middle classes... they would make themselves obsolete... and that ain't gonna happen... is it? I bet the dems lose all three in four years!!!
