Flight Simulator X China Southern A330-200 landing in crosswind

This is my first video in HD resolution. Also a test to see if HD resolution works for me..

I wonder why the thumbnail looks so weird...

I also included cockpit GPWS sounds in this one, since i figured out how to use it without causing much lag when recording.

My FSX under full screen does not work under XP, which is my normal FSX OS. So i had to go to vista to record this, which doesn't have scenery, and i have to turn autogen down to keep the frame rates at 10+

I chose some slow music for this video, since i guess they fit into the gray theme more? lol
I didn't mean to record it in a gray color theme, but this is how it looks under vista...never had this under XP..so i dunno..

Also this is definitely not a soft landing, it's kinda bad actually..I floated a bit when i'm near 20AGL, then when i retarded the thrust, and released the stick(REAL BAD Judgment, i tried to fix it by pulling a bit again, but i was too low, so didn't really help) the plane dropped onto the runway. I landed at about -460ft/min...with around 2.4G...*sigh*
Not necessarily hard enough to blow a tire, but maybe enough to run a check on the landing gear...

I had a good soft landing, with around -200ft/min ish, but FSX decided to crash on me when i hit replay so...o wellz xD

it does not have FMC. Wilco is the only one that's making airbus that is acceptable atm..however i believe airsimmer is also coming out, so that should help.

The reason i said wilco's model sucks, is because of the quality of the plane model itself. Not the navigation etc. I cannot stand looking at that model for one second. They made the plane's wing very ugly and the 3D cockpit is just....a disaster, if you look at the AP panel you will know.. the color is not even the same.

since this is just a landing, i couldn't care less about using a FMC...so i just used overland model, which doesn't have FMC, but looks MUCH better.

BTW i do believe overland make the best frame saving and high quality model out there. It looks real nice with many different types of repaints available. The only downside is it doesn't have a FMC. Since i hated wilco, when i fly one with FMC, i fly boeing...like Level- D 767, PMDG 747 etc.

seriously, that should've been a go around! at minimums not even alinged with the runway... bad call... very late landing... and very hard... could've easyly gone for the RWY... as said before, going around is no shame!
