Yes it is, they still rebuild historical sites like the church of our lady, it was completed 2005. It was a beautyful residential city, the capital of saxony, with a beautiful baroque city centre.

@Felfix it is good to have a positive view of your country. but no, that is not true, stuff in greece is bought for profit. and they are not really selling it, because they don't want to. the german economy IS they markets: east and south.

I'm italian, and I have to say that our german brothers are the best. We, as italian, put a lot of style in our cars. But when it comes to mechanical engineering ... no way, Deutschland is just top notch quality. What a good mix would be our style and their mechanical part. No envy, just have to be honest. If we could only stay toghether, we could beat every other car manufacture in the world.
