In 2011 ZimArt will hold the sixth annual outdoor exhibition of Shona sculpture at Centennial Park, a public park on the shores of the St Lawrence in Beaconsfield, Montreal. The exhibition is hosted by the City of Beaconsfield through their Cultural Services department

• Exhibition: Saturday July 31 -- Sunday August 7 , 2011 10.00 a.m. -- 8.00 p.m. daily
Rice Lake XII

In 2011 ZimArt will host the twelfth outdoor exhibition of Shona sculpture at the Rice Lake Gallery. This annual public show attracts thousands of art lovers of all ages, who describe the event as "magical", "inspirational" and "extraordinary."

•Private Preview: Friday September 2 to Friday September 9, 2011, any time by appointment. Please e-mail zimart@sympatico.ca or call 705.939.6144.


•Public Opening: Saturday September 10, 2011, 4.00 p.m. - 7.00 p.m., with live Zimbabwean music by the Nyamamumsango Marimba Ensemble.


•Public Exhibition: September 10 -- September 25, 2011, noon to 7.00 p.m. daily


•Closing Party: Sunday September 25, 2011, 2.00 -- 5.00 p.m., with live Zimbabwean music by the Nyamamumsango Marimba Ensemble.


Admission to Rice Lake XII is free. Donations to projects in Zimbabwe supporting HIV/AIDS orphans will be gratefully accepted. Read more about our fundraising.
