Linkin Park - Don't Stay (FL Studio 9 Remake/Cover)

ROCK SONGS CAN ROCK WITH FLSTUDIO

I did this one a few years ago...which is why I was using Slayer 1(Guitars) and the build in Real Drums pack (RD_?? sound set). Kinda dated sound....
It turned out really cool....maybe not 100% lifelike....but impressive for FLStudio.
Pay attention to my mouse cursor!!!! I try to point out some interesting things.
There is ALOTTTTT of behind the scenes programming....using Automation clips. the Damp function on Slayer is being used to pull off a Palm Mute on the Tar. You will see HOLD flip....In order to get the notes that ring out to shut up i need to flip the hold switch repeatedly to end the note. during the bridge you will see me changing guitar modes automatically to get different sounds.....

I DID SAMPLE THE INTRO DRUM BEATS INDIVIDUALLY AND THE SCRATCH SOUNDS INDIVIDUALLY AS ONE SHOTS!!!!! I only took a single "uhhh" and a single "ahhh" then scratched them out manually!!!!

I fed the "single note" scratch sounds into Wave Traveller....The COOOOLEST Scratch plug in for FL!!! I PROGRAMMED ALL OF THOSE SCRATCHES BY EAR AND BY HAND....DRAWING THE LINES FOR THE "TRAVELLING"

Everything in this song was done by ear....no tabs, no excessive samples (Just one-shots)

If there is enough interest in this video....I will make a tutorial for the behind the scenes stuff......

@MikeyManVideos LOL!!! I used some FPC samples and some RD samples that came with FL. If I hadnt actually made this way back in like FLstudio 4....I would have used more advanced techniques....If I remade this now I would have definitely used EZdrummer for the drums and played REALStrat into Guitar Rig 4 VST.

You know, I looked at what you used by pausing (although I couldn't see everything) and when I played them individually in FL, they sounded a lot like MIDI. If it's supposed to be REALDrumKits, then what the hell?

The Drum Kit 03 pack is more detailed and sounds way better, IMO, and I don't have to spend money on a VST Plugin.
