I'm 46 with primary immune deficiency. I was dx'd with Hib pneumonia last week. We were waiting until I was better to get the pneumonia and meningitis vaccines but now we find the bug we were waiting to get better was the one I'd have been vaccinated for. I feel relieved most kids are now vaccinated against this bug.

"That was then, this is now"? Yes, now we have the Hib vaccine saving thousands of lives every year. Hib is now a relatively rare disease. So this video shows how important it is that we have the vaccine -- it isn't old & obsolete.

vaccines should be initiated and mandated!!!! it's unforgivable if a child is not given vaccine. it's a good way to prevent contracting vaccine preventable diseases.
