The government has, through the sports stadia management board, given the families of the 8 killed in the Nyayo Stadium stampede two weeks ago 240,000 shillings to cater for funeral expenses over and above other donations made by well wishers including Super Sport that have since donated 400,000 shillings. These donations were made at a requiem mass for the victims at the stadium early on Wednesday. Citizen TV's Evelyn Wambui however spent time with one of the families that lost their loved one on that fateful day and brings us the story of a family that does not believe such monetary support and assurances will bring them back from the pain and anguish pit they were thrown into when their breadwinner died on the 23rd of October during the Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards match.
Please kick out all those in charge of football in the country. We will handle whatever punishment FIFA throws at us.Hatimy and his secretary have the most retarded speeches in kenya today.Lets not gamble with innocent lives again.
