lmao they wouldnt get away with a commentary like that today it would be classed as racist, i dont know where they got the idea people were a lot politer on buses back then because they were not i remember coming out of school and waiting for a bus and nearly getting trampled in the rush to get on one lol

This is a 134 to Potters bar and down to Tottenham Court Road, Although none of the buses ever managed to do the journey in one go they always have to be given a rest at Friern Barnet town hall because they were to tired to go further. Courteous and friendly. Don't make me laugh.

After being one of a few to help a woman on a bus at rush hour who was being Attacked because she asked a group of kids to stop throwing sweets at her made me stop taking the bus. It sickens me that people do nothing and even the bus driver told her to get off with the group at the stop, because he had a time table to keep to. They spat and kicked her it was only me and two others that pulled her back on. Shame on you bus driver and those who brought your LONDON PAPER up so you could not see.

We let our younger gen get out of line and not show them how to respect our fellow human. Worst yet we stopped national service. If we had that still the little shits that think they rule the buses, streets and postcodes ect would be more respectfull.

nice vid-but it is kinda funny- because that is so not how it is now

It feels like it was a different world where everyt hing goes in harmony

What a lovely time it was back then...why cant everyone be like this today...

wow, this video is a paradox of london buses today; punctual, stopping at zebra crossings, orderly passangers. us young ones may never, if ever, see this kind of travelling
Except that this is actually 'A Journey on a London Bus', as laughed at by Victor Lewis-Smith on 'Ads Infinitum'. The Colonial Film Unit's logo seems to have been the inspiration for the one seen at the start of the Cholmondley-Warner pastiches, only without Britain as the largest country on earth (although clearly that's what it was seen as, right up to Suez, in the minds of those who made such films as this).

Aaaaaaaaaah, you are beyond perfection in your correctness. I cannot believe that I have made such a mistake. Sorry (I mean it). I will amend this.
I didn't know that this had appeared on TV - isn't Victor Lewis-Smith the TV reviews person on The Standard?
