@nodankarate Shotkan or kyokushinkai.

Hopefully people don't call and report dog fighting. That's some intense shit though

@nodankarate I think you do Shito Ryu? Shorter stances than Shotokan. Also Japanese names instead of Okinawan names.

@rellik619555 Yes and no. This video shows Nodan's teacher, Master Li. Nodan is not in this video but he appears in disguise in all the other channel videos. You have to take the time to carefully read the channel Profile and the video descriptions to understand what these videos are about.

I was certain this was a joke or a send-up. I'm just waiting for the punch line. Now I'm confused. Is this for real or a gag. The name 'No Dan' kind of hints at a bloke with no grade..........am I close? The beard, the funny specs and the cushion up the shirt all adds to the effect of 'contented master'. Of course IF they're serious then that's even funnier.

@BelloBudo007 Read the channel and video descriptions for "The Power of The Way" video at the "nodankarate" channel. Yes, the specs, and the beard, and the funny voice are a disguise but, there was no cushion under my shirt. That's just the pot belly of a man in his late 50s. Peace.
Sincerely, nodan

cool sound affects. Powerful but too slow!

@davepamm Kata can be practiced at any speed, from slow motion to continuous motion. You have missed the point of what is being practiced here- the full development of every movement for speed and power. The speed of the transitions from technique to technique is not part of this exercise.
