Canada's Snowbirds Aerobatic team do a flypast in Whitby 2009 following the CNE Airshow The flypast was in honour of a school named after one of their former pilots, Captain Michael VandenBos. VandenBos died when his jet clipped the wings of another in 1998 during a practice at CFB Moose Jaw. Since 2001, the Snowbirds have treated schoolchildren with the flypast.
It was a lot of fun Hen! The kids at the school were screaming and the jets were roaring, the parents had their hands over their ears! Great fun!
