  • As-salaam alaykum Lyrical Swords...

A "five percenter" put me onto you.

The "Unseen" of course is of course Unseen and eternal, but your breakdown of the NOI and Five percent (who respected women) is awesome. I hope you break down the use of the name Allah from Caleb's time, and the Kmtic /Kushitic era.

    Peace and Blessings

    Maryam

  • Thanks Maryam...I'm working on some new lectures for an upcoming college tour...I'll let you know more as it evolves.

  • What happened to Zulu Nation?

  • thanx...the vid exposed a side of hip hop unknown to me

  • "One For All" is one of my all-time favorites. That record made me throw away red meat. Even if somebody never understood the teaching of 5% the artists make it sound so dope. Check out the new Lord Jamar!

  • The imperfections of our inablity to fully discern God. Many times it is the root of religous debate. Certainly there are REAL differences. But I believe that many times, some of us are gifted with certain levels of comprehsion and compassion of those unlike us. Other times, we can be rigid with those who are unlike us. These imperfections in US- not God, cause much of the fighting over relgion on the earth (in my opinion).

    Ma Salaam...

  • But Chrisitans belive Jesus is GOD. They do not view him as a Prophet. All I'm saying we Sunnis, 5% and NOI have different interpretations of how we use Allah's (SWT) name.

  • Nobody is tripping akhi...You know the NOI and 5% have different theological concepts than the Sunnis. The point is, the 5% and the NOI had a significant impact on how many came to know Sunni Islam...Malcolm was in the NOi and impact Sunni Islam before he event came to the Sunnah. Thats not something any person being honest can, or should deny.

    Ma Salaam...
