On a 6 day filming trip down the Colorado River, we flipped our raft. We hit the button-hole and nearly got sucked into the Big Drops. CRAZY scary, but we kept the camera rolling.

  • Exaggeration. All of it. You guys suck.

  • @zwieblekopf - I suppose not many people die from the rapids on tours ... so that was a bit misleading. However, the ranger came over to tell us to look for a dead body from some drunk people who fell over in a canoe and drowned. They found them a few days into our trip. The person that got airlifted out was from another group. Not sure why they had to get pulled out. I wouldn't have put that in if it wasn't true.

GoPro's are awesome! This isn't a go pro though. It was a Canon 5d Mark II.

  • It makes the video more intense but no one dies in cataract canyon, and I've never heard of someone being airlifted out in the 8 years I was a guide doing Cataract Canyon.

Cool video though, with I had a gopro when I worked there

  • Crazy!!! That's so awesome! Love the vids. Keep up all the fantastic work! You guys are my idols!
