Although just one thing: I know that most Mainland China newspaper are biased...just think of it as a balancing scale to all the western newspapers which are also biased in the other side of the specturm...being living in both US and China, I learn to read both sides and just get news from the middle ground.
Also China is HUGE..to say that the whole country is under "fog" is incorrect...as you go to the inland China and rural China...the air becomes better...just like in US, big cites=badair
