Clara S. Walsh
Born May 12, 1926, Stockton, CA.
Passed away February 10, 2011 at the age of 84.
Clara moved with her family to Carmichael, CA in 1960 where she continued her career as Employment Manager for 27 years with the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company until her retirement June 30, 1980.
She is survived by her beloved son Steven W. Cassinelli (Linda) of Carmichael, Grandchildren: Crystal Cassinelli (Scott Hall), Denise Cassinelli, and Dennis Troncatty...and a great grandchild currently "in route" with an ETA of August 12, 2011, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews in addition to family and friends residing in Bigorio, Switzerland. She is preceded in death by her father Stefano Stampanoni, mother Angelina Mongolo, sister Betty Faselli and her late husband's William J. (Bill) Cassinelli Jr. and Robert T. Walsh.
Clara also enjoyed many endearing friendships through her association with various clubs & organizations including; Sierra View Country Club, AT&T Pioneer Club & Carmichael Elks Emblem Club.
Her hobbies and interests included: golf, bowling, ice skating, snow skiing, fishing, knitting & sewing, various crafts, cooking & baking, penny-ante card games with her friends at SVCC, crossword puzzles and most of all family get-to-gathers. She also enjoyed traveling both internationally by land & by sea in addition to numerous excursions and adventures her "land-yacht" motor home.
Her family extends special thanks and appreciation to her dedicated caregiver & friend, Christe Caruso and her better than best friends Jeanne Zanotti and Dee Winn.
We remember the life of a woman who achieved and contributed so much to so many and who was rich with family and friends who loved her dearly.
