@montytarik Lots of parts of these aircraft are made around the world, its not entirely US built.

I have been in and out of Gib loads of times, in both Military and Civil aircraft.
Apparently there is a very bad crosswind just before you touch down, that comes and go's and can catch pilots unaware.
I was in a C130 one day that really slammed into the runway at Gib, not funny!!

A US built globemaster, but a British military aircraft. Unless we are calling all Boeing aircraft 'US aircraft', even when operated by European airlines, & all Airbus 'European'.etc. US designed & build, but sold to, owned & operated by the British.
Happens in Gib all the time, but rarely are actually aborted landing. Many visiting a/c do this when arrive & are rotating crew in cockpit to increase familiarity with Gib approach. Yes, they do this on 1st landing sometimes, don't land first, etc.
