I still feel like the SNW era was an incredibly great time, despite of any complications that Chino and the band may have been having. The album, for one, is so underrated. I also feel like people claiming Chino wasn't doing so hot during this time period are so wrong. It seems like he performed even harder.

@NotebookTracks I have to disagree. On early 2006, summer 2006 and throughout 2007 he was pretty fucking terrible. And even on that kind of days where he performed Rats! pretty awesomely, the rest of the concert was fucking awful. BUT the passion was there, indeed. About the screams, I have to disagree too. In 2006, they were pretty much shreeky high-pitched screams, whereas in 2003 they were fucking monsterous. Believe me bro, his most inhuman screamings are from 2003.

Great performance you gotta love the intensity. This song needs to be done live again, I don't think excluding SNW songs completely is right in the name of variation. I don't know about everyone else but I like the later mature sound often as much as the youthful days. But I will say "7 words" gets worn out a bit these days. They need to skip that shit once in awhile and use that time to add rarely performed songs sometimes. Besides, Chino even stated that he is tired of performing that song.

@wrangler34 I agree. when I saw them last year they performed Kimdracula and HIE from SNW but that's it; Xerces or Rats! would have been nice. 7 Words I enjoy to an extent but what I like about last year in Baltimore he improvised some stuff into the bridge to make it more variable, and effectively, more intense

SNW= best deftones album. however the touring during this time was a little slppy but VERY intense:D

@MrVesanique You're right, you're right. I just always felt like he had his passion on top-notch to cover up a lot of the "suckiness," so to say, haha. Not SUCKINESS, but we all know that he wasn't up to par with his performances prior to that.
