Carp Live! Long Hair Rig

Underwater video related to carp fishing. I was experimenting with a fairly long hair and an artificial bait. And I got some unexpected troubles with the hair rig, and the way some carp take it.

very interesting and thought provoking video! Makes you wonder how many fish you "nearly" caught in the past. From watching this (and other carp live videos) i think that fish are now very wise to bolt rigs and hair rigs and perhaps a change back to light leads, running rigs, slack lines and fine hairs used in the eighties is needed to fool the new generation of carp that have wised up to recent heavy bolt rig tactics. Has anyone tried this? any success?

@stringstrummer25 This is actually recorded in the US, where VERY FEW people fish for carp. So no fishing pressure, no wise carp. It's just that we never realized how many times they suck & spit before they get hooked - somewhat by luck. I did record a video about a semi-fixed rig. I didn't try a lighter lead yet.

Try 2 use Mouthsnagger from Carp R'US. They always get hooked !
