The Koran is an ancient tome that has been followed by Muslims for more than a thousand year. This History Channel presentation casts some Western eyes over the book and helps viewers to decipher some of the important passages of the text contained within. The program draws on the wise words of a number of people well versed in the ways of Islam, leading to some fascinating insights on what the Koran means and why it has proved to be so influential.
@christine0806 I'M A MUSLIM AND I SAY THAT WHAT OUR DUTY ISTHAT WE TELL PEOPLE ABOUT GOD ABOUT TRUTH AND AFTER THAT IT IS UPON THAT PERSON WHAT HE DECIDES WE R NOT TO FORCE HIM IN MY OPINION I WOULD CALL FORCING A BIG SIN THAT WE SAY SOMEONE "CONVERT TO ISLAM OTHERWISE U WILL BE KILLED"ITS JUST THE BIGGEST OF SIN. I DONT KNOW WHY MUSLIMS KILL NON MUSLIM AFTER THE QURAN ITSELF SAYS CONVEY GODS MESSAGE TO PEOPLE THAN LET THEM DECIDE ,

@ islam4unity-why has to be required viewing? Whoever believe in God will search for him. He will be there and open his arm to welcome us. God do not force anyone.....love has to come within you. People that kill non-islam belong to hell.
