Russ gets a flat just as we enter Missoula. He demonstrates how to change a flat on the Brompton Dutch style and explains why Rema Tip-Top patches are the best.

  • Do you ever miss having quick releases on the Brommie's hubs?

  • Hi russ, good job there. Just an info: Next time take the plastic top cover off, its just a protection from contamination (dust, dirt, etc.) You want it off because after appliance you will inflate the tube and therefore allow the patch to stretch with the tube (which the unelastic plastic cover will not allow when left on) :) Also new for me to repair a tube without removing the wheel, but looks like it works fine. BR Rene

  • U guys are just a few blocks from my house, love it. Enjoy your visit to missoula

  • Great video, guys! I've never tried patching a tire without removing the wheel, but recently removed the rear wheel on the Brompton to patch a flat. Quite a work out!
