  • Some of you people are so mean with your silly comments. Both the composer and the performer are brilliant. Enough said PLEASE!

  • This is more than lovely, her playing is exquisite!

And the harpsichord is just a wonder to look at.

  • @razorthecurse But it's French.

  • What a wonderful performance, it makes me travel in time!

  • You are such a beautiful player, would love to see you perform live :)

  • It is not the most beautiful piece of Rameau in my opinion and although I wish I 'd have the technique of this lady, I strongly prefer the interpretation of Trevor Pinnock. His rhythms are flowing in a very natural manner, it 'swings' almost jazzylike, but still very distinct and classical. Here I hear a more conservative approach. Its all a matter of taste. I like the Cembalo, both its sound and its appearance.

  • this music makes me feel quite british, hmm yes...

  • @Alexandrep49 No worries and many thanks. I removed my answer as well.

  • @joimko2

Sorry some of my friend may have used my account. I never write dirty words. I remove it immediately. I feel sorry to have disturbed you.

  • @ocktube Performance practice is always a subjective topic with no one right answer, save for one that brings out appropriate musicality. I think this performance is a good interpretation. If she was playing inégale with Monteverdi, then I would agree with unnecessary and inappropriateness. But since this is a mid to late French baroque piece, I would say it isn't out of the question and "inappropriate".

  • @nyerndc , why , did some idiot say that the composer is not brilliant? lol.....must be someone who talks out of his arse, as Rameau was a legendary composer and a great music theorist. It's like a plumber saying that Da Vinci wasn't so good. So idiotic that makes you laugh.

The performer is great too, but the composer is in a league of his own
