  • I'm from Pakistan and I'd like to say Excellent teaching 7:38 minutes of my life has truley used thanx alot

  • @MrAlijan2 I'm glad to hear that it was helpful. Thank you for commenting.

  • The grammar at 6:26 is wrong. You can't ever say we'd as in we had and I'm not sure you can say it to mean we would either. Even thought we would can be contracted to we'd it sounds awkward. The correct thing to say would be we've, we have.

  • @stefie01 No, both are correct when used properly. "We'd been waiting an hour when the bus finally arrived. We'd have taken a taxi, but it was too expensive."

  • You make it so easy to learn.

  • @eslsyllabi Thanks. You made my day.

Yeah I thought about that after I posted my previous comment. It's still somewhat confusing and sounds awkward when I say it aloud. I guess because I've hardly ever contracted 'we would' or 'we had' in speech and writing. English is my first language but I still watch these kind of videos for some reason. Maybe giving further explanation on how to use that specific contraction would help ESL learners though.

  • to esl,its better to show than to explain.
