  • How the hell did you get it to play with such great quallity?

  • Add -hires to the shortcut to play at a resolution of 640x480 instead of the default 320x240.

  • Well then how's about you show how its done better?

  • Man, this game is awesome!! I wonder if you used some king of plugin or patch to make the graphics look way better than my game... Anyhow, I love the expressions that the two characters have when they crash and go at high speeds...

  • Only thing I used was the command line option -hires to up the resolution from 320x240 to 640x480.

  • good race man well played

  • 7 people driving through checkpoints ! :P

  • that game was so fun

  • Ah, I miss this game. I lost my CD

  • Can u belive that this game was banned in many countries in Europe

  • @Asky66 Some games required only cga graphic card (4 colors 320×200), ega craphics (16 colors 640x350 resolution). of chourse there where more types but this was commonly used

  • @GTASA911 back than a pc was pretty expensive. The games didn't require so much hardware like in this days, because the programmers make the games to work on most PC. Now days, its kinda reverse, the programmers make people buy stuff. At tht time some high quality graphics games were made to work only on vga graphic cards (max 640x480 resolution and 256 colors). At a later time svga graphic cards appeared (800x600 resolutions and up), after that 3d accelerators and etc.

  • @highbridge06 yes not to mention the special forces (amphibious or something) they were almos impossibile to destroy

  • SMXPRO50 !! Golly rofl. Only shit that made me look for Carmageddon were the Fear Factory tunes, instrumental'd. Good shit

  • i still have this game :D

  • what do version game?

  • Back in the day when I was around 11 I used to play this game & Need For Speed with my mate then afterwards we would bike down the road to the corner dairy & buy lollies. Those were the good old days, I can't believe how far computers have come since then.

  • every time i played this game i would always ram the other drivers until they couldnt move then ram them head on and waste em.

  • Man I used to have this game, now I'm trying to find another copy. Any suggestions?

  • So fucking epic.

  • that fucking cop tank was so hard to destroy

  • wow memories i was little but i still remember this game i always drove the red car or the yellow SUV thing

    awesome great vid

  • @SMXPRO50

    default resolution of 320x240?!?!

Its nice to see some vids of games from the time i was young enough to understand as much from those games as from chinese..

But was it always the same with PC games. You also needed to spend MUCH money on a pc to play a game lag free back in those years??

Or was it the golden age for the non PRO gamers without thousands of dollars for a game pc.

  • awesome game dowloading

  • Ah that sound of grinding metal. So many memories!

  • So old but still so god damn cool a game right there ***** That rough diesel like sound really spells trouble... Die pigs, die :D

  • Good old times! That game was great game when it came out. And the cops where pain in the ass all the time :D

  • ooooaaaahahahaha
