i know man im watching all these videos, im 17 now and man i wished i lived in this generation. Not necessarilly for the drugs, but just the style of the 60's and 70's. Everyone was on the same page. Today most people are totally lame and it sucks because this type of style will never happen again, at least in my generation

Simply put, eventually the mass of new people born was great enough that your dream could no longer be imposed on all of them, and their own divergent dreams began to take shape.

With ideals that the corporations and government couldn't allow us to keep. Look at most of the leaders of those times, bribed and swallowed by the very things they were against.Had the message stuck we wouldn't be spending Trillions across the world trying to invent more efficient ways to kill each other. We will never become an "advanced" civilization. They wouldn't allow taxing half the people to kill the other half.

No. It could only happen in a country where immigrants and native borns never say : We wanna make money. We wanna be rich.

Well, once the Vietnam War was over, the government stopped automatically drafting kids, and long hair, rock music, and pot became mainstream, there was nothing to protest anymore, and everyone withdrew into themselves.
